A shared book, a creative afternoon and a guided tour can be three different ways of entering a museum. In November, Cagliari’s Civic Museums bring them together in a programme spanning the Municipal Art Gallery, Palazzo di Città and the Stefano Cardu Museum of Siamese Art.

Between reading and imagination

At the Municipal Art Gallery, a conference on 7 November introduces the public to the Musée d’Orsay; on 21 November, the journey continues with the Art Institute of Chicago. On 12 November, “First Steps in Reading” is dedicated to children aged zero to two, while readings and workshops for older age groups are scheduled for 18 and 19 November.

On Thursday 26 November at 15:00, the Cardu Museum hosts the Silent Book Party, an event dedicated to the pleasure of reading together, each with their own book.

Guided tours

The programme includes tours at 11:00 and 16:00 at Palazzo di Città on 8 November, at the Cardu Museum on 15 and 29 November, and at the Municipal Art Gallery on 22 November.
