Applications for the Municipality of Cagliari’s Free Nursery Bonus can be submitted until 20 September 2026. The contribution is intended to reduce the cost of fees for early childhood services. The support can amount to €2,200 and is paid over eleven monthly instalments, excluding August.
The support covers fees for public or private nurseries and crèches, spring sections, play spaces and home-based educational services operating within the municipal area. Requirements, admission criteria and calculation methods are set out in the official notice, which should be read in full before submitting an application.
How to apply
Applications must be completed exclusively online by accessing the Municipality’s application platform with a Level 2 SPID or an Electronic Identity Card. From the menu, select “Online applications”, then “Early childhood services and contributions” and finally “Nursery schools — Free Nursery Bonus 2026”. The deadline is 23:59 on 20 September; once the procedure is complete, the system sends a confirmation and automatically assigns the registration number.
